Though I have collected over 20 years of experience in the industry, my passion for real estate was actually inherited from my father, who inherited it from his father. Growing up, I watched my grandfather flourish as a contractor and multi-unit housing owner/landlord.
Following my passion led me to pursue a career in real estate, upon the completion of my enlistment in the U.S. Marine Corps. I began working in real estate sales with Coldwell Banker in Savannah GA until the 2008 recession. What was a difficult time in our industry brought me to the city I love; Jacksonville, Florida.
For the past 15 years, I managed several property types including: Conventional, tax credit, single-family and condominiums. Since then I have worked in real estate sales, as well as managing residential and commercial properties.
In February 2020, I officially opened Hill Street Realty, Inc. A Real Estate Sales & Management Company.
I am dedicated to providing an excellent real estate experience as well as educating first time home buyers on the home buying process, and much needed benefits of home ownership.
Coming from a background in the United States Marine Corps, Mark is proud to be certified as a Military Relocation Professional.The MRP certification program educates REALTORS® about working with U.S. service members and their families and veterans to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and to take full advantage of available benefits and support.
As a USMC veteran, his experience gives a unique perspective on the needs of those in service. Mark’s extensive experience in real estate provides a wider view of military benefits available. This is why his focus is to educate active military and veterans of all benefits they are entitled to and provide them with all the options at their disposal.
